Between the harmonious vibrations of the Portuguese guitar and the enchanting voice of some of the great names in Fado, Casa da Mariquinhas opened its doors in 1968 to become the oldest Fado House in the region.
It was Heitor Gil de Vilhena, actor and fado singer, who thought of the smallest details that distinguish this space. Located in the heart of Porto, it is now owned by the son of a fado singer who used to perform here frequently.
The traditional Portuguese cuisine, combined with the cozy atmosphere of the space, guarantees complicity and the sharing of emotions between the fado singers and the audience.
